Revetments provide engineered slope protection, shielding coastlines, embankments and infrastructure from wave attack and erosion. OEC constructs large-scale rock revetments designed to absorb and dissipate hydraulic energy while maintaining structural stability.
Works include subgrade preparation, geotextile installation where specified, and controlled placement of graded armourstone to precise profiles. Attention to interlock, toe stability and crest formation ensures resilience under repeated tidal loading.
Our fleet of excavators equipped with rock fixed leg grapples enables accurate stone placement, while low ground pressure dozers and dump trucks operate effectively in sandy or unstable environments. Strict quality control ensures material compliance and compaction where required.
