Respecting the environments we work in
We believe responsible project delivery means protecting both people and the places in which we work. Health and safety remains central to every operation, supported through robust planning, clear communication and regular toolbox talks that reinforce safe working practices, environmental awareness and shared site responsibilities across all teams and contractors.
Environmental protection is equally embedded within our approach. We work proactively to safeguard biodiversity and sensitive habitats, particularly within coastal and environmentally sensitive environments, where careful planning and specialist operational expertise are essential. Wherever possible, we encourage early ecological engagement during project development to help identify risks, reduce impacts and support more effective environmental outcomes from the outset.
On live sites, we take practical measures to minimise disruption to surrounding communities and environments. This includes maintaining clear and responsive community engagement, implementing reduced noise and dust control regimes, intelligent haul route planning to limit unnecessary traffic impact, and visual screening of works to reduce the effect of operations on neighbouring areas. Alongside project delivery, we also seek opportunities to contribute towards wider coastal, habitat and land enhancement wherever feasible.
